Name: Bunderra "black wallaby"
Gender: Stallion
Age: 6 years
Appearance: Though Bunderra comes from a line of brumbies with more slender, petite builds, the stallion has inherited his mothers heaviness. With a large chest and shoulders, Bunderra is built for strength rather than agility, though at times has proven to be fairly nimble on his hooves. The stallion has a long, muscular neck and strong legs that support him well over the rough terrain of the north. Bunderra has a simple, handsome face with a warm, kind expression and large, wide mahogany eyes framed by thick lashes. He supports small nostrils, a velvety nose and ears slightly longer than the usual. Bunderra's colouring comes from his sire, and is a sooty black, with a slighter lighter grey mane. Mane and tail are medium length and rarely get tangled due to this.
Personality: Bunderra grew up in the north, with a wise mother to teach him the ways of its rough living, and therefore has an inbuilt sense of wisdom when it comes to the kimberley. He also has an acute sense of when danger is about, and can sometimes seem too tense for the situation. Despite this alertness, Bunderra is able to relax when he is certain no danger is about - this relaxed nature increasing with his age and confidence. Bunderra is a quiet, gentle soul, but does what is neccessary for his herds protection, not shying away from the duties that come with watching over and protecting others. He is very much a herd stallion, prefering to have a large amount of horses surrounding him than to go off and wander on his own. Foals delight him, and mares intruige him. In his younger years, Bunderra was rather awkward and nervous when it came to meeting strangers, but now has accepted this as a part of life. Bunderra usually spends most of his time in Windjana Gorge in the dry, but in the wet will wander out to find his herd pickings from the ranges or plains.
